DC Pulp Heroes
Heroes from the noir era. From top left, the
Crimson Avenger, Bat-Man, The Green
Hornet, The Question, The Shadow, and
Sandman.

The Red Hood
Inspired by the New 52 version of the
Red Hood. I wanted to make it look
like he has room for a pile of gadgets.
The Joker
Inspired by the Joker as he appears in
Batman R.I.P.
New 52 Superman
I really liked the New 52 version of Superman's
suit. Its essentially just jeans, a tee shirt and his
father's cape. Its great.

Han-El
The Last Son of Alderaan
This one was a challenge from some
friends. Its supposed to be the Superman of
Alderaan.
Gaslight Batman
Inspired by the Gotham by Gaslight game
that never came out.

Terry McGuinness
Batman Beyond
For everyone who loved this show.
Inspired by the New 52's Batwing Comics.
 Green Lantern Hal Jordan
Inspired by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis
John Carter
Warlord of Barsoom
Inspired by books that are still
great today. Thanks to Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Justice Society
Inspired by the compliments I got
on the DC Pulp Heroes sketch.
Sand Man, Dr. Mid-Nite and the Spectre

Nightcrawler
He's awesome.

Found a big pile of my older drawings. Here they are!
 Anguish:
Spider-Man
Seems like I mostly did this one to see
how hard it would be to convey emotion
in a character whose entire face is covered.
Turns out its not impossible.
Inspired by the old story arc that I wont
mention here so as not to spoil the upcoming movie.
If you know, you know.
Venom
Just good old classic beefy Eddie Brock Venom.

 Haku
From way back in volume 4 of Naruto.
The first of many tragic villains that became, to
me, the highlight of the series.
 Ultimate Venom
I believe I drew this from art from the
Ultimate Spider-Man videogame.
Awesome character design
Ultimate Carnage
The Ultimate incarnation of Carnage.
Created in this timeline by Peter Parker and
Curt Connors. Given their close working
relationship in the Amazing Spidey movie
maybe we can hope to see an incarnation of
this character in the Movieverse.
 Ultimate Iron Man
In the Ultimate Universe, Tony has an inoperable
terminal tumor, so he does what he can,
although he tends to be somewhat nihilistic
and cynical. I'm really proud of my shading there : >
 Ultimate Spider-Man
He doesn't normally dress like this, but
when Dr Octopus kidnapped him and he
had to stow away in the cargo bay of a plane,
he got cold, ok? I just had to draw that.

 Spectacular Spider-Man
Cover art from Spectacular
Spider-Man: Coming Home
Check out my review of the tpb
in the not too distant future.
The Iron Spider
During the Superhero Civil War,
Spidey eventually sided with Iron Man, who
gave him an updated suit that was bulletproof, and
3 mechanical appendages with various uses.
There's a whole cool sidestory there that I never
got around to reading.
Curse Mark Sasuke
Inspired by Orochimaru's machinations

Ultimate Dr. Doom
Inspired by Ultimate Fantastic Four Vol. 1 and 2

Ra's al Ghul
From the Design in Batman: Hush

 Roronoa Zolo
The Famous 3 Sword Master from
Eichiro Oda's One Peice
The Time Trapper
Arch Villain of the Legion of Super Heroes of
the 31st century.

 Uchiha Sasuke
With the Windmill Shuriken
 Uchiha Sasuke
Cover art from before Orochimaru.
Serious foreshadowing.
 Beet The Vandel Buster
Employing the Crown Shield Saiga
Strike Gundam

 Barrow Wight
From the Barrow-Downs Early
In Frodo Baggins Adventure.
Read the Book.
 Vash The Stampede

 Pac-Man
Did you know that Pac Man was
originally called Puck Man?
 Doom
In Magical Armour
 Jaime Reyes
The third Blue Beetle, and member of the
Teen Titans.
Haruna Sakura
